Skype and MinuteFix have joined forces to offer you the Skype Prime IT Provider, with a the strength of the MinuteFix Certified Technician Community. In doing so, you are also eligible to earn up to 10% more on your Skype Prime fees, in addition to the 70% you are already earning.
Sign up for a free MinuteFix account. During the certification process we will ask for your Skype ID so we can pay you your money for your Skype Prime services.
To become certified, you will need to pass one test in each of three categories: technology skills, language and customer service. Once you become certified, we will provide you with all the tools you will need to interact with customers and offer remote support.
Once you are certified, you can continue offering your Skype Prime service as usual while benefiting from the MinuteFix Technician Community features. After you get your payment from Skype, we will send you your additional fees.

Nothing. It's free. Just sign up, take the certification tests, and start earning money. We'll provide you with all the tools for you to provide support.
You will need a high-speed internet connection and a fast computer running Windows. You'll also need a headset and a Skype account. That's all.
Yes. Being a MinuteFix Certified Technician also gives you access to provide support services for MinuteFix customers too. To do so, you must be certified in at least one of the technologies we support which include Microsoft Windows, Windows Vista, Microsoft Office, Security and Antivirus, and General technology support. You must also pass the English proficiency test, and our customer service exam. Find out more about offering support to MinuteFix customers. If you are already a MinuteFix Certified Technician, you are eligible to use Skype Prime and automatically setup to earn higher fees.
In order to become a MinuteFix Certified Technician you will need to pass a language, customer service and at least one technology exam. At MinuteFix, we strongly believe that great customer service is just as important as technology expertise. We gather the top technicians from around the world to make part of our top-flight technician community, and to do so, we ensure that their skills go beyond knowing how to remove a virus. Once you have passed the language, customer service and technology exams, and accepted our terms of behavior you will be part of the MinuteFix Certified Technician community.

We currently only offer proficiency tests in English. Additional languages are coming soon.
Once you join the Certified MinuteFix Community, you will have access to the community discussion forums where you can post technology questions and get to know other members. You will also have your own profile page in our community social network. Live technician chat rooms are available as well as access to our remote desktop tools. Best of all, you will earn higher rates for your Skype Prime services, as well as increasing your chances of getting business as your customers will know you are backed by the MinuteFix Certification Program.
The tests are multiple choice and written answers, and vary from 15 to 40 minutes in available time. There are between 30 - 40 questions and you don't get a negative mark for wrong or unanswered questions. Each correct answer gives you 1 positive point. Some questions might have more than one correct answer, you will need to select all the right answers. There are no partial points. All questions have the same mark. At the end, you will receive an overall score and a pass or fail notice unless the test has an open-ended question, which will be graded manually. The technology certification exams are multiple choice while the language tests require writing and speaking (you will need a working computer microphone).
The following are the rules you must adhere to when taking your MinuteFix certification tests. These rules are strictly enforced:
Violation of these rules will result in the immediate suspension of the MinuteFix account, and the technician will be expelled from the community. Please report any violations by emailing us at technician.support@minutefix.com.
You can take as many tests as you feel are appropriate for your depth of knowledge, however, you will only be able to retake a test once (a total of 2 tries).
We suggest you refresh your technical knowledge of the specific test you are going to take. The test is made up of theoretical and practical questions. Before taking the test, there will be an outline of the topics that will be covered. Make sure you have plenty of time (the tests range from 15 - 40 minutes) without interruption, and solid internet connection.
You must pass with a 70% average to pass each test.
By being a Skype Prime provider you get 70% of the fees you choose to charge for your services. By being MinuteFix Certified you automatically get an additional 5%. And, if you make it to our MasterTech program, you get a full 10% more.

Your fees will be delivered via PayPal. Please make sure you have submitted the PayPal email address you would like us to transfer the funds to in your MinuteFix account under "Your Account" > "Payments".
Your fees will be transferred to you via PayPal 30 days after you receive your payment from Skype. Yes, we too are begging that they reduce the 4-month time-frame. We'll try to pull some strings on your behalf.
